It was organized by the Department of Business Foreign Language. The working languages of the conference were English, German, Russian and Ukrainian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the conference was to discuss the linguistic and cultural aspects of doing business, important economic and political issues of the present, basic strategies and directions of the development of the economy; demonstrate the ways of using foreign languages in their future careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference provided the maximum opportunity for students to present the results of their research; improve communication skills and knowledge of foreign languages, convincingly present their reports; use a foreign language as a tool for professional networking, sharing knowledge and experience; discuss issues on enhancing the learning of foreign languages as a condition for increasing graduates competitiveness in modern highly competitive global environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector Dr. Sc. Garkusha S.V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plenary session presenters were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Bixby John (USA) A NEW U.S. PRESIDENT, NOW WHAT?<\/li><li>Nyamukondiwa Carlos (PUET) CROSS CULTURAL COMMUNICATION IN BUSINESS.<\/li><li>Marina Frei (Germany) Study in Friedrich Schiller University Jena.<\/li><li>Atedhor Peter (PUET) A. WHO ARE YOU?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>82 speakers represented PUET students, students of Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University and pupils of school \u2116 4 (Horishni Plavni) and school \u2116 5 (Poltava).
