The conference was devoted to the analysis of modern problems in the preparation and public defense of doctors of philosophy and doctors of sciences, exchanging of experience of institutional transformations in science and internationalization of the third level of higher education. Participation in sectional meetings and discussions was taken by academics from Poland, Lithuania and representatives of higher education institutions of Ukraine, and they provided new ideas and approaches to solving problems in the third level education system.
