Legislative changes will affect all operators of the food market, which are regulated by chapter IV &#8220;Sanitary and phytosanitary measures&#8221; of Section IV &#8220;Trade and Trade-Related Issues&#8221;, the Association Agreement of Ukraine with the EU, the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On the Safety and Quality of Food Products&#8221;, and also by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. From April 2018, checks are provided for food business operators to implement the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Food Safety Management System. This system has been operating for many years in Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. It consists of inpreventing risk factors that may endanger the consumer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poltava University of Economics and Trade is involved in the implementation of European legislation on the safety of food products. Thus, in PUET the educational project &#8220;HACCP School&#8221; was launched, which provides for trainings for food producers, catering establishments, as well as commercial enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first HACCP training for beginners was held on June 2. Representatives of the restaurants &#8220;Palazzo&#8221;, &#8220;Lilia&#8221;, &#8220;Peperonchino&#8221;, &#8220;Magnate&#8221;, producer &#8220;Fish every day&#8221;, and also &#8220;Kolosok&#8221; bakery participated in it. The training participants showed their activity and interest in the training, as well as received certificates for participation in the training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next training in the &#8220;HACCP School&#8221; is scheduled for June 23-24, 2018.
