{"id":919,"date":"2018-05-14T09:21:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T06:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/puet.edu.ua\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=919"},"modified":"2023-02-11T09:23:03","modified_gmt":"2023-02-11T07:23:03","slug":"learning-historical-and-cultural-heritage-of-poltava","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"http:\/\/puet.edu.ua\/en\/news\/learning-historical-and-cultural-heritage-of-poltava\/","title":{"rendered":"LEARNING HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF POLTAVA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On May 3, 2018, a traditional study trip for foreign students coming from Azerbaijan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Ghana, Guinea, Morocco, Liberia, , Yemen, Gambia, Turkey, India, Sudan, Jordan, Gambia, Sierra Leone and other countries to take the foundation course at Poltava University of Economics and Trade (PUET) took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The excursion in English and Russian for foreign students was conducted by Ukrainian university students studying Tourism and Management (Groups T-11, T-22, , MEN-21); it was a good experience for them to apply their knowledge and English language skills in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tour around the city began near the academic building of PUET where foreign students learned about the main historical events that took place in Poltava. Foreign students were able to learn the culture and customs of the Ukrainian people and got acquainted with the historical center of the city and its cultural attractions. Foreign students were happy to saw around the Poltava Museum of Aviation and Astronautics leaving their warm impressions about it in the Museum&#8217;s Book of Reviews.
