Food production and restaurant technologies


The Department of Food Production and Restaurant Business Technologies is located on the first and third floors of the university and includes classrooms and laboratories:

Auditorium 106 – Laboratory of Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control, Theoretical Foundations of Food Production Technology, Food Technologies, Scientific Research and Technical Creativity.

It is intended for laboratory classes in the following disciplines of the department

  • theoretical foundations of food production technologies
  • food technologies
  • standardization, metrology and quality control
  • methods of product control in the industry
  • The laboratory is equipped with laboratory equipment, chemical utensils, chemical reagents and auxiliary equipment and materials necessary for conducting classes and research experiments for master’s theses and on the topic of scientific research of the department.

Room 107 – room of innovative technologies in the restaurant industry

The room is organized for lectures with the use of multimedia broadcasting, laboratory and practical classes in technological disciplines, for master classes, trainings with the participation of leading masters of culinary art of Ukraine and abroad, graduates and students of PUET.

Accordingly, the classroom is equipped with modern equipment (combi oven, electric stoves, dough mixer, juicer, meat grinder, etc.) and the necessary kitchen and tableware, kitchen utensils, and appliances. Workstations are organized for the technological process. There are 30 chairs with table tops for students.
