Tourism and hotel business

The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Business provides professional training of experienced personnel for the tourism industry (hereinafter – the Department) in the specialty 242 Tourism and Recreation (field of knowledge 24 Service industry), junior bachelor’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

The department is headed by Professor, Doctor of Economics Heorhii Skliar. The department employs qualified teaching staff with doctoral and PhD degrees. The academic staff conducts research in the field of tourism, economics and business management.

The staff of the department has developed modern teaching and methodological complexes in academic disciplines and electronic manuals. In the educational process, the academic staff of the department actively use interactive educational technologies, as well as the system of electronic support of the educational process based on the Moodle platform.

Students have the opportunity to undergo professional internships abroad:

  • Republic of Turkey (hotels: Papillon Belvil Hotel, Papillon Zeugma Hotel, Papillon Aysha Hotel; Delphin Diva Premiere, Delphin Deluxe Resort, Delphin BE Grand Resort, Delphin Imperial Lara Hotel, Delphin Botanik Platinum Hotel, Delphin Palace Hotel, Delphin Botanik Hotel & Resort; travel company “Anex Tour”);
  • Republic of Bulgaria (hotel and restaurant complexes and ski resorts, travel companies in Albena, Golden Sands, Primorsko, Obzor, Dobrich, Sunny Beach of St. Konstantin and Elena, and Kiten);
  • USA (Work & Travel USA program);
  • Federal Republic of Germany (ZAV1 / ZAV2 program).

The internship takes place in the departments: “Transfermen”, “Front Office and Reception”, “Food and Beverage”, “Housekeeping”, “Entertainment”.

Students have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs in Ukraine and abroad:
