Ukrainian, foreign languages and translation

The Department of Ukrainian, Foreign Languages and Translation of PUET is located in room. 401. The department has three classrooms at its disposal: room 507, room 433, and room 319. The specialized multilingual classroom No. 319 is equipped with appropriate software for conducting classes, in particular the SDL Trados Studio 2019 software application. Lecture hall No. 507 with a multimedia complex (PC with connection to local and global networks, stationary multimedia projector). Practices are held at the Higher Educational Institution of the Ukoopspilka University of Economics and Trade “Poltava University of Economics and Trade”, language schools, translation agencies, etc. All applicants have a guaranteed place of internship.

The teachers of the Department of Ukrainian, Foreign Languages and Translation actively implement interactive methods of teaching foreign languages using innovative information resources (video and audio materials, educational multimedia disks, the Internet, and training workshops). Students have access to the latest authentic sources – textbooks, periodicals, fiction and non-fiction literature – available in the library, the English Language Resource Center, and the Center for German Language and Culture.
