Annual Regional Youth Project “Our United Student Family”
On November 13, on the eve of International Students’ Day, the annual Regional Youth Project “Our United Student Family” was held at the Leisure Palace «Listopad». The purpose of the project is to unite the youth of the city with creative and social activities.
Every year, students at our university participate in an exciting student holiday, showcasing their talents by performing an amazing concert. This extravaganza of student achievements and talents was initiated by the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of the Regional State Administration together with the Regional Youth Center of the Regional Council for the purpose of patriotic education of young people, development of creative abilities, creation of cultural space for students.
In addition to large-scale and vivid performances of young people, there was a solemn awarding of the best students of Poltava region in four nominations: “Best student – athlete of Poltava region” (Yarych Khristina); «The best student – public figure of Poltava region» (Poleva Yana); «The best student – scientist of Poltava region» (Nujhna Irina); “The best student is the creative personality of Poltava region” (Subota Igor).
Svetlana Nestulia, Deputy Mayor for Humanities, addressed the students: “Dear students! You are intelligent, energetic and extremely bright. You are responsible for the future of Poltava, because it is you who will develop our city, continuing the changes we have started. I am convinced that thanks to your knowledge and energy Poltava will reach a new level. I wish you to always learn new, think creatively, set ambitious goals and be sure to achieve them. ”
Students were rewarded with gifts from event organizers and sponsors.
The Rectorate and the faculty are proud of the successful performance of the PUEET team at the annual regional youth project “Our Unified Student Family” and wish further educational, scientific and creative achievements!
