Nutrition, Nutritional science and herbal medicine in crises

We present another area of activity of the Poltava Center for Adult Education, which operates on the basis of PUET with the support of the German Foundation DVV International. This is an educational training course, students of which received not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills of planning their own diets, taking into account the limitations (financial, logistical, assortment, etc.) caused by full-scale armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.

The course, announced on March 17 this year, aroused notable interest of people of different ages, not only Poltava residents, but also those who were sheltered by the Poltava community — IDPs. So, through March and April the students actively worked on the course.

In the classes conducted by a professional coach, nutritionist Nadiia Gnitii, they learned how to take care of and maintain their own health with a balanced diet using the simplest food items available during the war-caused crisis.

We are convinced that the acquired knowledge and skills will be useful not only to the listeners, but also to the people from their communication circle.

Everything will be Ukraine
