CONGRATULATIONS TO THE STUDENTS OF THE PREPARATORY COURSE ON THE SUCCESSFUL DEFENSE OF LANGUAGE PROJECTS

On May 26, 2016 in Poltava University of Economics and Trade foreign students taking the preparatory course defended their language projects. Students who speak English, Arabic, French, Portuguese and Urdu, presented their families, hometowns and countries, including Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Angola, Gambia, India, Jordan, Yemen in Russian.

The creative approach of foreign students to preparation of presentations, their pride in home countries and the desire to master another foreign language provoked a lively discussion among students and members of the Honor Committee, which included: Vice-Rector on Scientific and Pedagogical work (International Relations, International Activities, European and Euro-Atlantic Integration) Doctor of Economics, Professor Olena Cherniavska; Dean of International Students Department Yuriy Dzekun;  Head of the Chair of Business Foreign Language, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Valentina Ishchenko; Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor of the Chair of Human Resources Management and Labor Economics Alexander Borovykov; Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor of the Chair of Business Foreign Language Valentina Voskobojnik.

The use of modern techniques of interactive language learning allows foreign students of the preparatory course from different countries to communicate, present language projects and enrich their outlook due to a diverse cross-cultural environment while getting the necessary training for study in universities of Ukraine.
