Creative Spark Marathon Results!

On September 5-9, 2020, an event from the Creative Spark Poltava team took place – Creative Spark Marathon!

This is a series of online webinars on creative entrepreneurship for students of Poltava University of Economics and Trade in Belgorod-Dniester, Mykolaiv and Cherkasy, as well as Local Distance Learning Centers located in Zhytomyr, Kropyvnytskyi, Sumy, Novomoskovsk, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Kherson. . More than 120 people took part in the training. However, not only PUET students joined this event, because it was open to all!

Thus, each day was devoted to a specific topic of the course “Creative Entrepreneurship” in the framework of the Creative Spark program: a program to support entrepreneurship in education.

The first day (October 5, 2020) was dedicated to the presentation of the Creative Spark Poltava project among the participants and training trends in the creative economy and creative entrepreneurship in Ukraine. The speakers of the event were Inna Pakhomova, Director of the PUET Institute of Projects and Innovations, and Oleksandr Ustyan, Creative Spark Poltava Manager.

The training of the second day (October 6, 2020) was devoted to issues of creativity in business. The trainer of the topic “Creativity in Business” was Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Management Lyudmila Shimanovska-Dianich.

On October 7, 2020, a training on “Forming a business model of creative entrepreneurship” was held with a trainer – Ph.D., Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Victoria Lisitsa, marathon participants described consumer segments, formed a value proposition, chose channels sales, identify customer relationships, identify revenue streams, key resources and key activities and partners of the future business project, identify possible costs.

The fourth day of training (October 8, 2020) was dedicated to the study of creative sales techniques. The trainer of the topic was Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities Olena Mykhaylenko.

On the last day, Igor Yurko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities, worked with the participants of the marathon. The last webinar within the Creative Spark Marathon was devoted to the economic and mathematical model of the business project and the calculation of financial indicators.

According to the results of the training, all participants of the Creative Spark Marathon received certificates.
