Dialogue between students of the specialty hotel and restaurant business, successful graduates of this faculty and employers during the round table

The 45th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Trade at the Poltava University of Economics and Trade began the Week of the Chair of Hotel and Restaurant and Resort Business, which will last from November 4 to November 8, 2019.

On November 4, a roundtable “Hotel and Restaurant Industry is my future” was held. The work was opened by the Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, Doctor of Economics, Professor Manzhura Alexander and the guarantor of the educational program “Hotel and Restaurant Business”. Prof. Tatiana Kaplina.

The event was attended by leading experts of the hotel and restaurant industry in Poltava: Chizhov Valentina, manager of Panorama Restaurant and Bulanovo Hotel and Restaurant Complex, Odnoyko Natalia Alexandrovna, Director of Almaz Hotel Complex and Trotskaya Victoria, Director of the Yaroslav the Wise Institute. Highly qualified professionals shared their achievements, challenges and perspectives.

Students of the hotel-restaurant business group Plachtuk Victoria, Sheiko Artem and Boogа Marina told about the benefits of practice-oriented training and the successful application of the acquired skills during the course of foreign production practices and internships.

Graduates of various years of graduating from the specialty hotel-restaurant business gave video greetings to the teachers and students of the department from Turkey, Poland, Dubai and cities of Ukraine.

Associate Professor of hotel-restaurant business Karpenko Victor summed up the results of the round table and thanked the invited hoteliers and restaurateurs for active participation and cooperation in the preparation of future specialists of the hotel and restaurant business.
