“EURObus” unites the Ukraine

On June 12, 2015 an informational and educational action “EURObus: let’s unite Ukraine” on the initiative of the European Union was held in our town.

The event was held with the participation and support of the Higher Educational Institution of Ukoopspilka “Poltava University of Economics and Trade” (PUET), which is one of the few educational institutions in Ukraine with long experience in cooperation within international educational programs and projects, primarily represented by the European Union.

The program of action provided realization of games, quizzes and competitions on knowledge of facts about European Union and winning prize for active participation in them. The participants of “EURObus” exchanged the photos, which were done in the most beautiful places in Ukraine and Europe, took part in a master-class on drawing symbols of the European cities on the water through the technique of “ebru”, folded the map of Europe with puzzles, exchanged books and got informative materials on the European themes.

During the action staff of the International Scientific Educational Center of PUET together with the organizers of the event conducted a quiz «Education in Europe» and informed youth about the existent European educational programs, such as Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, grants and scholarships of European Union and countries-members of EU, and also possibilities, which they present for those, who aim to extend the knowledge, capabilities, be mobile and competition-capable skilled specialists of select professions in the future.

In the end of action organizers together with all participants arranged flesh-mob and sang the words of Ukrainian hymn on the music of European Union hymn.
