Foreign students of PUET continue their acquaintance with Ukraine

Every year foreign students of our university learn more about history, culture, traditions, everyday life and places of interest of our country.

This summer foreign students of the preparatory department visited Kharkiv, one of the largest cities in Ukraine.

Kharkiv is a regional center of Ukraine, which is called “Ukrainian megapolis”. It is a giant of Ukrainian industry, major educational and cultural center, one the most prominent transport hubs of our country.

There was organized an excursion to the “Marine Museum”.Then the students visited the sights of Kharkiv: Square of Liberty, Monument to T.G. Shevchenko, Kharkiv State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after N. Lysenko and Kharkiv Historical Museum named after M.F.Sumtsov. They were surprised by the beauty of the masterpieces of local street artists and folk craftsmen.

But the greatest impression was made by the central park of culture and recreation named after M. Gorky with its fascinating attractions, fantastic sculptures and unforgettable landscapes seen from Ferris wheel, as well as Feldman Ecopark with its unique zoo.

Foreign students got a lot of positive emotions and impressions from the trip.
