ХLІI International Scientific Student Conference on the Results of Students’ Research Work for 2018 “Actual Issues in the Development of Economics, Food Technology and Commodity Studies”
In the Poltava University of Economics and Trade (PUЕT), on March 26-27, 2019, the ХLІI International Scientific Student Conference was held on the basis of the research work of students for 2018 “Current Issues in the Development of Economics, Food Technology and Commodity Studies”, which once again gives students the opportunity to demonstrate results. their scientific achievements and to carry out testing of research.
The conference plays a leading role in shaping the personality of a scientist in our institution and in the system of higher education in general. It enables to identify the priority directions of the development of modern science and to familiarize students with innovations and actual problems in scientific research.
Solemnly the opening of the conference took place at the plenary session. Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of PUET Oleksandr Vasilyevich Manzhura addressed a welcoming word to all present.
At the plenary meeting 6 reports were heard. The participants of the conference exchanged their views and opinions on various issues that caused discussion, which prompted all participants to discuss urgent scientific issues.
In total, 659 students from Ukraine, Belarus, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Gambia, India, Malawi, and Nigeria participated in the scientific student’s conference.
293 reports were heard at section meetings. All of them were characterized by actuality, practical significance and a high level of scientific knowledge.
March 27 the conference closed. University Rector, D.Sc. Professor Nestula congratulated the participants and winners, as well as handed diplomas I, II and III degrees.
The Organizing Committee expresses its gratitude to all the participants and scientific directors of the PUET, as well as other institutions of higher education, whose representatives participated in the conference.
