Internazionalization of PUET’s educational activities in the 2018-2019 academic year in the framework of EU program Erasmus + CA1: International Credit Mobility
For the third year in a row, in order to realize the right of teachers and students to academic mobility, and in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 579 “On Approval of the Regulation on the Implementation of the Right to Academic Mobility” Poltava University of Economics and Trade is an active participant of the European Union Erasmus Program + CA1: International Credit mobility, which involves the mutual exchange of students and teachers between PUET and European partner universities.
In the 2018-2019 academic year, Erasmus + CA1 exchanges began with the visit of two teachers and one PUET employee to the Foggia University in Italy in the first semester, as well as visits: 1 teacher to the Povyslyan College in Kwidzin, Poland, one teacher to the Higher School of Information Management systems in Latvia and 2 staff members to the Janos Kodolani University in Hungary.
The participants of the above-mentioned projects of exchange were the Director of the International Scientific and Educational Yulia Pereguda and the head of the sector of organizing the international internships Anna Bychkova, who presented the Poltava University of Economics and Trade at the 9th International Week, organized by the Janos Kodolani University of Applied Sciences , Budapest, Hungary.
In general, the event brought together scientists and staff from various university departments from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Turkey and the United Kingdom. The International Week was intended to pursue a policy of internationalization by providing intercultural experience, as well as bringing together representatives of partner universities.
During the international week the Networking program and the exchange of knowledge and experience on a number of issues during Staff Workshops were created:
internationalization;
Іnfo-Calypsis: Fake news in international relations;
Online services in higher education;
Creating a brand in higher education: calls for change and improvement.
KJU organized a platform for communication where representatives from various educational institutions had the opportunity to present their university and establish new partnerships. Also during the event, talks were held with KJU Eva Croatian International Relations Directorate, which resulted in an agreement to continue cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus program and to increase participation in other international grants programs.
