Meeting of the PUET staff with the Chairman of the Board of Ukrkoopspilka Ilya Leonidovich Gorokhovsky
On September 9, 2021, the staff of the University of Economics and Trade met with the Chairman of the Board of Ukrkoopspilka, Doctor of Philosophy, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the University, Vice-President of the European Community of Consumer Cooperatives (Evro Coop), Member of the Executive Committee of the World Consumer Cooperatives (CCW) Ilya Leonidovich Gorokhovsky. There was a conversation about the problems and prospects of Ukrainian education in general and cooperative education in particular. They also talked about the need to take into account today’s challenges in the activities of the university, improving corporate culture as a guarantee of its development and prosperity, the role of traditions and innovations in strengthening competitiveness in the country. Ilya Leonidovich answered a number of questions from university staff.
The meeting was attended by the Rector of Lviv University of Trade and Cooperative, Doctor of Economics, Professor Petro Kutsyk.
The moderator of the meeting was rector of PUET, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Oleksiy Nestulya, emphasized the unity of the academic community of the university around the implementation of the University Development Strategy, its values, because “cooperation means sticking together and learning to respect each other and trust each other” (John Gray).
