Poltava University of Economics and Trade was selected for CREATIVE SPARK – ENGLISH CLUB 2020-2021

Poltava University of Economics and Trade is one of the two universities in Ukraine selected for the CREATIVE SPARK – ENGLISH CLUB in 2020-2021. Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas is together with us.

CREATIVE SPARK – ENGLISH CLUB is an English language program for students participating in the Creative Spark program: a program to support entrepreneurship in education. The program is based on the concept of a virtual club that will work through an online platform.

Poltava University of Economics and Trade nominated two teachers of the Department of Business Foreign Language PUET – Ishchenko Valentina and Kononenko Elena. Teachers will receive prior training from the British Council – online training (18 hours) on specific learning practices, with the participation of British Council experts.

The CREATIVE SPARK – ENGLISH CLUB program will last in the format of 60-minute sessions, which will last for 20 weeks in November 2020 – April 2021.

The CREATIVE SPARK – ENGLISH CLUB program will focus on 4 key areas:

Learning to learn and language skills

Language and professional skills

The world of work

Entrepreneurial skills
