PUET employees conducted training within the competition of investment projects “Horizons of Poltava region”
From 19 to 28 October 2020, training was held for participants of the competition of investment projects “Horizons of Poltava region”, which is held within the regional target program to promote investment, economic cooperation and positive image of Poltava region for 2017-2020 Poltava regional state administration.
The training included a course of trainings and consultations on the design and presentation of investment projects. Developers and trainers of the program – Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Igor Yurko, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Olena Mykhaylenko, Director of the Institute of Projects and Innovations Inna Pakhomova.
The Expert Committee has previously selected 23 projects in priority areas: agro-industrial sector, alternative energy and energy efficient technologies, IT technologies, culture, youth startups, industrial production; sports, entertainment, leisure; tourism.
During the training, the Contest participants:
-got acquainted with:
-basic documents of the investment process;
-technology of drawing up a business plan according to the UNIDO method;
-sources of funding for investment projects;
-electronic computer programs to calculate the main economic indicators of project efficiency and tried the program Project Expert;
-visualized project indicators
-prepared a presentation of the project for the investor.
As a result of the training, the participants finalized their ideas in the form of relevant business plans, prepared presentation materials.
On the last day of training, participants presented their business projects for trainers and employees of the Department of Economic Development, Trade and Investment of Poltava Regional State Administration.
The next stage is the submission of business plans for further evaluation by the Expert Committee and determination of the winners of the Competition.
