PUET’s students have joined the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and YEP on the development of business clubs

Students of the Poltava University of Economics and Trade Oleksandr Vykhrenko, Vladislav Ivanov, Volodymyr Ivchenko – joined the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and YEP on the development of business clubs in Ukrainian higher education institutions.

On November 10-12, 2018, a training session was organized in Kyiv for the creation of the Startup Club at our university. Let’s remind that YEP! Club is a project that develops entrepreneurial culture and thinking, stimulates start-up movement among young people, and creates a trend for the creation of startups at universities.

During the training the team from the university received the necessary knowledge and guidance on the work of the business club, as well as practical tools for project management. Special attention was given to Event Management: Event organization formats and approaches, as well as PR & SMM, where the boys were told how to build an effective SMM and organize the work of the PR-direction of the club.

Every day all the knowledge received by students immediately applied in practice. After each day of training, a networking session was held, where was a great opportunity to chat with other program participants and expand the range of acquaintances.

In addition there was an interesting student meeting with the winner of the program YEP! Starter, who will go to present his Startup to investors in Estonia. The main idea of the project is a telegram bot called GiftHub, which, after 15 questions, gives you 50 ideas for a gift.
