Scientists of the Department of International Economics and International Economic Relations joined the development of the National Economic Strategy 2030
On November 6, 2020, the President and Prime Minister of Ukraine presented the Audit of the Ukrainian Economy and Vectors of Economic Development 2030, which will form the basis for the National Economic Strategy 2030. The document was developed by a working group of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine together with the expert community, which included representatives of business, government, scientists, and international analysts.
Researchers of the Department of International Economics and International Economic Relations joined the development of the National Economic Strategy 2030. Director of the Department of Economics and Investment, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Vita Klymenko and Deputy Director of the Department of Economics and Investment – Head of the Strategic Development Department, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Svitlana Tul, who work together in research and teaching activities, are members of the working group in the field of “Regional Development” in the framework of the National Economic Strategy 2030. They are actively involved in initiatives to develop the National Economic Strategy 2030, in particular they provide recommendations for: municipal statistics at city, district (district in cities), village, settlement councils; stimulating higher education institutions, in particular private property, to develop modern educational programs in public administration at the second (master’s) level for the training of local government officials and government officials (territorial administrators), etc.
The strategic goal of the “Regional Development” direction is to increase the institutional capacity of local governments and provide them with all the necessary tools to ensure the development of regions and improve living standards.
