Signing a memorandum of cooperation between the Poltava Chamber of Commerce and Uganda Chamber Of Commerce and Industry!

Poltava University of Economics and Trade Higher Educational Institution, together with the Poltava Chamber of Commerce and Industry, conducted seminars “Doing Business in Uganda and Investment Opportunities” by  Samuel Majwega, First Vice President of Uganda Chamber Of Commerce and Industry for representatives of enterprises of Poltava region.

The purpose of the event was to present the investment opportunities of Uganda enterprises, as well as to establish cooperation in the fields of foreign trade, industry, tourism, education, construction, agribusiness, transport, medicines, services and more. The workshop focused on:

-the principles of the functioning of regional investment markets (East African Community – EAC, Common Market for East and South Africa – COMESA);

-conditions for granting tax and infrastructure benefits to investors;

-priority areas for investment and cooperation (agriculture and agro-processing, tourism, information and communication technologies, mining, services (financial, medical, pharmacy, etc.).

The memorandum of cooperation between the Poltava Chamber of Commerce and Uganda Chamber Of Commerce and Industry was signed during the event! Congratulations on the beginning of productive cooperation!
