Students of PUET continued to study under the “Student Action: Leadership Development” Program from the British Council

November 30 – December 1, students of the Poltava University of Economics and Trade Olga Kulyvish, Marina Negoda and Yana Polyeva took part in the second module of the British Council’s Student Action: Leadership Development Program held in Kyiv. During the meeting, our team presented the project “International Club”, aimed at establishing intercultural dialogue between Ukrainian and foreign students in PUET.

As part of the event, the teams learned about student self-government at George Washington University, as well as continuing their project management and leadership training. The main issues were about fundraising, the role of a leader in creating social initiatives, modern models and paradigm of leadership, leadership development, project organization and quality assurance of the modern university. The speakers were Mikhail Vynnytsky, Tetyana Kharchenko, Yelizaveta Shchepetylnikova, Andriy Rozhdestvensky and Sergei Kvit.

As a result of training, all participants received certificates.

At the end of the modules, the participants had the opportunity to chat with the director of the British Council Simon Williams.
