The development of cooperation between Poltava university of Economics and Trade and Mogilev State University of Food (The Republic of Belarus)

As part of the agreement on cooperation between Poltava University of Economics and Trade (PUET) and Mogilev State University of Food (MDUP) the professor of the  of technological equipment for food production and trade department V.A.Sukmanov  visited the leading university in the field of foodstuffs in Belarus by invitation of University. The trip was funded by the Republic of Belarus Ministry of Education.

During the trip V. Sukmanov met, PhD, Professor, Honored Worker of Science of Belarus, corresponding member of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Rector of the University V.Sharshunov, also Associate Professor, Vice-Chancellor A.Nosykov, Professor, Honored inventor of the Republic of Belarus, Vice-Rector V.Akulich, Associate professor, Vice-rector in Education process I.Davidovich, Head of the Food production machines and devices Department I.Kirik.

During the meeting they discussed the issues of joint participation and preparation of projects in terms of “Erasmus +” and “Horizon 2020” programmes , the subjects of the  future joint research, preparation of articles and the exchange of students.  Professor V. Sukmanov lectured on innovative technologies in food production to teachers, Under-graduate and Post-graduate students.

Mutual exchange of information on the organization and methods of teaching,  students’ research work and subjects of course projects at the Department of machines and apparatus of food production is the common area of interest for both the Mogilev University and Poltava University of Economics and Trade.
The results of Prof. V.Sukmanov stay at the Mogilev State University of Food allow us to hope for future fruitful cooperation between universities of Ukraine and Belarus.
