The participation of PUET managers at the program of Critish Counsil and the Society Initiatives Institute
The training under the program of British Council and the Society Initiatives Institute was held in Lviv. It was attended by Associate Professor of Management Department Janina Barybina and 2nd year student majoring in Management Maxim Holysh.
This program of the British Council for young people in the area of intercultural dialogue and social development is aimed at positive changes in society and increased activeness of population.
Within the program PUET delegates became the participants of the training Inclusive friendly according to the method of the program “Active Citizens” by the British Council and the Society Initiatives Institute.
Thanks to the training, all participants gained new knowledge and competence in:
- Searching the opportunities and ways of inclusive interaction
- Formation and development of personal qualities necessary for productive social change
- writing own local social action projects
The program also provided an opportunity to participate in the contest for mini-grants from the British Council (in terms of the British Council program “Active Citizens”, providing mini-grants aimed at implementation of social projects amounted up to 500 pounds (15 000 UAH).
