UKRAINE WELCOMES INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Students of the preparatory course of Poltava University of Economics and Trade (PUET) from Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Angola, Gambia, India and Yemen continue to explore the culture, customs and traditions of the Ukrainian people.

On May 31 2016, foreign students of the preparatory course of PUET got acquainted with the countryside, including Dykanka, Velyki Budyshcha and Pysarevschyna. They visited Velyki Budyshcha Ukrainian Folk Museum of Wedding, observed the local library, church and monastery, talked to local people, learned a lot of interesting things about the way of life in the Ukrainian village.

The staging of the Ukrainian wedding performed by the staff of Velyki Budyshcha Ukrainian Folk Museum of Wedding aroused a special admiration of the international students; they took an active part in this performance.
